Rotary Indexing Gripper Head.

Automated machine loading and unloading requires two different grippers — typically a manual change-out process that can slow cycle times.

Applied Robotics provides a standard 180-degree rotary actuator mounted at a 45-degree angle with custom gripper jaws and a custom mounting plate to attach two small parallel grippers. A quick, 180-degree rotation of the rotary actuator simultaneously rotates one gripper up and out of the way while accurately positioning the other gripper to pick up the next part.

Collision Sensor for Machine Load/Unload Industry.

Collision sensors are used to protect equipment for a number of applications. Multiple work cells are crucial for loading/unloading efficiently, but require repeatability in every production cycle.
